Here we are standing on the east side of the model looking west. This is how the temple would have looked during the time of King Herod. The gate on the east side of the City is the gate that the Savior would have entered on Palm Sunday. The people standing to the on the east side, looking west, are where the Mount of Olives would have been. The Mount of Olives is where Gethsemane is located. The Savior would have looked down into the City from Gethsemane. The Antonio Fortress is on the northwest corner of the Temple.
