Where mom and dad started out!

Have you ever heard the phrase " Live like nobody else so you can live like nobody else" ?
Well that is exactly what my parents did in the beginning of there marriage. Low and behold, did they know the blessings that were in store for them. All they understood is that education was important, they had faith in my dad returning to law school and in starting their family. They left a good job at IBM and living in San Jose CA to move to Tacoma WA for my dad to attended law school. They lived here....


First in this apartment ..then they moved into this house behind the apts


This BandI was a local attration they would visit.This is all Located in an Asian part of town.

My mom said they watched a lot of drive in movies from there apartment. They just always wondered what the movies would be like being able to hear them and see them. hahaha

My parents had Isaac and Emily in Tacoma and then moved to Spokane.

Some people have said to me that my dad has been an overnight success with his business. If you consider overnight to be 30 years worth of work. Then yes he is an overnight success.

Thanks mom for showing me where it all began and for working so hard so I have it better now then you did!

And thank you to Tacoma for the character building experiences that you gave to my parents!
